About Electronics Department

The department of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering presently offers undergraduate (BE/B.Tech) as well as post graduate program (M.Tech) study program. The curriculum of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering covers planning, construction, and maintenance of permanent structures as per Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Bhilai (CSVTU) syllabus with its cohesive team of faculty members. In essence, Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering is the profession that helps to make the world a more pleasant place to live. The department has well qualified and experienced faculties and state of art laboratories.

Establish candid learning environment to enable the students to face the challenges in the field of Electronics and Telecommunication engineering.
Promote the establishment of centers of excellence in various technological areas to nurture the spirit of innovation and creativity among faculties and students.
Provide ethical and value based education by promoting activities addressing the Social needs and provide a framework for promoting collaborative practices.

Program Outcomes

PO1	Engineering Knowledge	Engineering Knowledge Apply knowledge of mathematics, Science and Electronics and Communication Engineering for Solving Engineering Problems and Modeling.
PO2	Problem Analysis	Problem analysis Design and conduct experiments to analyze and interpret collected data, simulate and fabricate electronic circuits and systems to make own projects utilizing latest software tools and techniques. They also possess the ability to identify, formulate, research literature and analyze complex engineering problems to reach logical conclusions
PO3	Design & Development of Solutions	Design a system, component or process to meet the desired specifications, performance and capabilities; compatible with health, safety, legal, societal and environmental considerations.
PO4	Conduct investigations of complex problems	Use research based knowledge and methods including design of experiments in analyzing and interpreting data, and synthesizes the data to come to valid conclusion.
PO5	Modern Tool Usage	Apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern attitudes, tools (linking hardware and software) including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities and research.
PO6	Engineer and Society	Understand the special duty they owe to protect the public’s health, safety and welfare by virtue of their professional status as engineers in society
PO7	Environment and Sustainability	Understand and correctly interpret the impact of engineering solutions in global, societal and environmental contexts and demonstrate the knowledge for sustainable development.

PSO1	Ability to identify, understand and solve problems of Electronics and Communication engineering and to apply them to various fields like signal and system, Analog and digital Electronic circuits, VLSI, Embedded system etc.
PSO2	Ability to design and analyze complex electronic system and problems in research activity and Societal needs by using modern electronic tools.
PSO3	Knowledge of social & environmental awareness along with ethical responsibility to achieve a successful career addresses the real world applications using optimal resources as an entrepreneur.
