Admission Procedure
Admission to all the courses are conducted through Central Online Counseling administered by Directorate of technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh. The dates and other details of such counseling are displayed through advertisement in local newspapers as well as their official website (www.cgdteraipur.ac.in) However admission under Sponsored Category (M.Tech) and management Quota seats are administered at the Institute level.
Policy of Admission (B.Tech) – EN135
As per the policy laid down by the Honorable supreme Court Article No. 40, the Government of Chhattisgarh has constituted the following rules for admission to the Engineering Institutes:
| 1 | Chhattisgarh Domicile Quota(Only for residents of Chhattisgarh) | 75% of total seats |
| 2 | Other State Quota (Other than residents of Chhattisgarh) | 10% of total seats |
| 3 | Management Quota (Any domicile, any state) | 15% of total seats |

85% of the seats shall be filled through DTE counseling & 15% has been reserved for Management Quota

Admission to all the courses are subject to granting of Affiliation by CSVTU, Bhilai and are regulated by the Ordinance of the University and guidelines framed by the Admission & Fee Regulatory Committee of the State.
