A motivational session for the students of 3rd semester was organized on 24th December,2019 at the institute premises conducted by Team Vidhyut (E-Bike).
One hour session for motivating students of 3rd semester to come up with their innovative ideas and coping up with the challenges faced during the journey from initial idea to a final product.
The session was dynamically delivered by 4 students of Department of Mechanical Engineering who have created the E-Bike.
A group of 70 students from various departments attended the session. The students gave an assurance of providing such platforms and benefits in the coming days also. A great knowledge was extracted by the students from the session.
Objective:
The prime objective of this session was to get the practical exposure to the challenges faced during conversion of any idea to the actual prototype.
The concern was also for the development of basic and fundamental mindset of the students and to make them aware of the understanding of projects.

State level Hackathon-Navonmesh 2019 was successfully organized on 17th and 18th October 2019 in Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management & Technology premises in association with CSVTU Bhilai under TEQIP-3.
54 short listed groups presented their innovative projects during the events. Eminent technocrats from administrative service and industry graced the event as jury members. The felicitation ceremony witnessed the presence of honorable guests and handsome cash prizes were awarded to outstanding projects.

Navonmesh 2019: State Level hackathon
Date - 17th & 18th October 2019
State Level Hackthon – Navanmesh 2019 will be organized in the Shri Shanakaracharya Institutes of Professional Management and Technical Raipur (C.G.) Premises on 17th and 18th of October 2019 in association with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Bhilai under TEQIP. The preliminary round for this was organized on 30th September and 1st October 2019.During this 1020 students in 250 groups appeared for the screening process out of which 60 groups selected to appear in the final round.

SSIPMT Raipur is conducting a One Day HR Conclave to mark a decade of its glorious existence in the field of Engineering & Management education in the state of Chhattisgarh.
Objectives of the conclave:
- Discuss the challenges faced by TA professionals in today’s globally converged workplaces.
- Bringing together HR perspectives across different industries on to a common platform for the academia and students to understand and benefit.
- Promote multi-disciplinary way of thinking in academia and students.
- Help bridging the two contrasting themes
- Not enough job opportunities for fresher engineers;
- Not enough fresher talent available to be recruited from campuses
- Explore new opportunities for engagement of industry and academia.
- Discuss add-on courses/ training that can be introduced by academia alongside existing curriculum.

PYRAMID – the Triangular Quest
Every year an inter-Institute management event, Pyramid is organized, where students from different B- Schools across the state participate. Pyramid epitomizes the spirit of Department of Management Studies and attempts to get a picture of the ever changing business scenario and business dynamics through a broad and diverse spectrum of events.
Pyramid provides a platform for participants to understand, analyze & interpret contemporary business issues through various fun filled business games & make the experience enriching not only for the participants but also the organizers.

“Drops of Hope”- a blood donation camp hosted by Department of Management Studies in association with other SSIPMT departments, NSS cell and NGO’s like Helping Hands is an initiative to make the students aware of their responsibilities towards their society.
State Level Conferences
Date- 7th - 8th April 2017
Every year a state level conference on the theme of “Innovation & Technology Management” is organized by M2M association along with Department of Civil engineering for the students. Participants from various Institutes across the state present their research and working papers.
This year the conference was held on 7th -8th April 2017 on “Innovation & Technology Management – A Challenge for Developing Nation” which turned out to be a great success with massive participation of B.E. & MBA students.

The M2M association also organizes activities every weekend for the students which includes:

- Other activities designed by the students and for the students
These activities basically aim to provide the students good opportunities to develop managerial mindset for handling different situations in the corporate world.
Also we try providing productive recreational getaways for the students, which serves as much needed breathers in their busy academic schedules to relax and enjoy. The academic learning is bundled up with some cherished moments in the life of students in the form of the fresher's welcome, the Teacher's Day celebrations and other cultural activities.
