Mechanical Engineering Association i.e. MEA of Mechanical Engineering Department at Shri Shankracharya Institute of Professional Management and Technology (SSIPMT) is an organization formed by the students which firmly believes that every individual is blessed with certain qualities and MEA endeavours to bring the best out of an individual. The basic aim of MEA is 'to enrich the students with different qualities to add dimensions to their personality so that every student emerges as multi-functional engineer who is globally recognized‘. MEA was established in the year 2008. The motto of MEA is to mould one's personality in such a way that one becomes equally competent in all streams of engineering. In the yester years MEA has been working hard to press the students towards the goal. of developing them in an all round fashion and in years to come it shall be consistent but with lateral improvements. Time to time MEA organizes various cultural activities, sports and various competitions, contributing to over all development of the student. MEA also believe in inculcating ethical and moral values in the student for which events like blood donation camp, environment protection and preservation, visit to villages with social message are organized.
